A Beautiful Night at the Bella
Well, it’s been over a month since my show at the Bella Concert Hall on April 11th and I think I am still coming down from the high of performing! As I mentioned at my show, I wear a lot of hats these days - mother and wife being the two that usually take center stage of my life. So, it was very special and exciting to feel like a proper artist for the evening!
I am so grateful to everyone who was involved in making the show a success! The musicians on stage (band members and string players alike), special guest artist and songwriter, Aaron Pollock, and everyone behind the scenes came together to pull off an incredible show that was truly a dream come true!
Oliver Banyard captured amazing video from the evening, including a special highlights reel you can watch below.
As usual, my photographer, Carey Stevens captured some special moments on and off the stage.
I think the hardest part of the whole event was simply organizing child care for my three kids for the evening!
It was truly amazing getting to play a grand piano in a theatre that I have dreamed about for so long.
I was able to play songs that were written 5 years ago, perform cover songs that have been part of my repertoire for decades, and even debut some new songs that are going to be on my NEXT album (which is already in process!)
I feel very grateful that I got to share my music, stories, and a few laughs with all the people that came out, and I am happy to report that there are many more show opportunities on the horizon (stay tuned for more details on that!)
I have loved performing since I was a little girl, and I am happy that even at the age of 34, with 3 kids and a busy life outside of music, I still have opportunities to get on stage and entertain an audience!
Thank you to all who came out to support me - it truly means the world. And if you couldn’t make it to this one, I hope to see you at the next show!
